Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a family of mixed blood. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss and the mother of her is English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. At the academy was when she performed in various stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. After the film's success, Madekwe played Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & make people feel alienated that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 with her thriller The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before it was ended on The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series of Revenge on ABC in two episodes. It was revealed in May 2013 that she was set to quit the show after completing a guest episode in the very first series of the 3rd. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he has also appeared alongside Madekwe on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, hails from a large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty and her other siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the summer and winter. They grew up playing stadiums and played baseball. Ashley did not have the ability to walk. She danced. At just 2 1/2 years old, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance after this. Ashley competed in tap, jazz and ballet at the top divisions. She also won the top awards for soloists in every major dance contests, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
